I designed my first knee gaskitz in 1994. I was a professional snowboarder and i could not find any good neoprene pads to help protect my knees. So i designed my own and met up with some people who really knew their neoprene.
I've been working and designing new products with my friend Jorge Garcia in Santa Ana, California for over 25 years. Our first knee pads are STILL around. Almost too good and we will NEVER be made in CHINA..
You won't find any cheap Chinese rubber used with my pads either. I use the best neoprene there is to offer. My pads last much longer and have less breakdown in the rubber. I also have two patent pendings in my designs.
As far as sizing goes I have a sizing chart for knees and kidneybelts in the Reviews section after the photos and videos.
Double shakas.
I named Mrs G's after my Mom when i started the company back in 1994. I thought it sounded cooler than Graham Gaskitz and fit better on a sticker.
I had a decade in which i got away from everything i was used to and moved to Kauai to raise a family. But all the while i was still designing new products . Like my patent pending rash guard i designed for people like myself, Tex Davenport and a few others with messed up rib cages. IMPOSSIBLE to surf without pain, i used an 8mm Yammamoto pad to support the lower rib cage where they met the hard board. I can lay on granite and not feel it. Perfect for those hard core surfers everyday. I also moved away from the best place on earth work more closely with Mrs G's. Well, also to teach my groms how to snowboard...
From gardening on Kauai to hiking Shuksan arm. Mrs G's work in every aspect of life whether its work or play. Or just being able to walk down the stairs because of one of my kidneybelts. You can't put a price on being able to knock 20 years off your body. Just by trying them on..
